Work injuries happen every day. What should you do when you are involved in a work related accident? Most company's have a policy on what to do. Additionally, most companies policy is to inform the human resources department immediately. This is important, as many work related injuries are later dismissed because the employee did not report what happened in a timely manner. Once you incur a work related injury, you may need to see a panel doctor. If your company does not have a panel doctor, then you can see your own doctor for these injuries. Further, if you wish to see a specialty doctor such as a Doctor of Chiropractic and you company does not have a Doctor of Chiropractic on their panel, then you are free to go to one of your choice.
